The Company and Opportunity:    
 
The holding company is an established business operating in the greater Atlanta area for the past 5 years. This is a new venture for the shareholders and an excellent opportunity for someone to get in at the ground level to grow with the company. 
Management is looking for preferably a HVAC qualified (EPA), ambitious technician that will undergo training and development through the company, in preparation to employ teams to work with and be under the control of the technician.
 
 
The Position
 
The Technician will be responsible to manage a crew for HVAC Systems, air duct cleaning, coils, blowers, dryer vent cleaning projects and sanitization of air flow systems for residential customers. 
Thorough training on techniques and equipment will be provided.
 
Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide strong leadership to the teams to ensure a successful, safe, timely completion of the project meeting the customer expectations, company service and profitability goals.  
  • Completing thorough servicing and cleaning of HVAC systems including supply vents, return vents, trunk lines, furnaces, and dryer vents.
  • Set up and operate negative air machine, fogger sanitation equipment and other associated equipment i.e., cameras etc for duct and vent cleaning. 
  • Communicate with others to cooperatively work together.
  • Manage and use of on-line (iPad) documentation on projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring all safety measures are enforced on jobsite.
  • Must be able to handle stress and job demands.

  • Background check will be required.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must live in Greater Atlanta GA area
  • Must have I-9 background check for legal work status?
Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge/experience/qualification in HVAC (Universal EPA Certification) Construction, Service industries and Air Duct and Vent treatment are preferred, but not essential.
  • Industry certifications a plus (i.e., IICRC, NADCA, OSHA, etc.) is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time ,8-hour shift, however overtime may be needed to complete assigned jobs, Monday to Friday. 

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience: 2-5 years HVAC or equivalent

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (Essential)
  • HVAC Universal EPA Certification (Preferred)
  • NADCA Certification (Preferred) 
  • IICRC Certification (Preferred)
Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
